just be afraid

For Christmas my brother and sister in law got Jackson a Yo Gabba Gabba singing guitar. For those of you who don't know Yo Gabba Gabba is a weird kids show with weird characters and silly songs -- but the kids love it. Anyways, the guitar plays a bunch of songs.

I walked into the girls room the other day and Gwen was playing with it and singing along so seriously. What I thought was funny was the lyrics she was singing. The actual words to the song goes: "Don't be afraid, Don't be afraid, Don't be afraid, It's Okay." Gwenny was singing "Just be afraid, Just be afraid, Just be afraid, It's Okay."

It seemed so funny (and a little creepy) to me that my child thought that one of her toys was singing the words "Just be afraid" and she was totally okay with that.

Anyways -- just thought I'd share that... it may be one of those "you had to be there" stories -- but whatever.
