So if you ask Sam he says it wasn't camping. But it was at a place called Zion's Camp.
We slept on a blow up bed and when I woke up to pee in the middle of the night I had to walk outside to walk to the bathroom. I call that camping. However we did have the luxury of heat, electricity and a big conference room that had games such as ping pong, air hockey, board games, plus it had a huge screen and projector that we watched movies on. So if I have to go camping - that's the kind of camping I like. :)
I love Sam's family -- they are a bunch of great people and I am so glad we got to go spend Christmas with them.

The lake was frozen in some places - so they had fun breaking pieces off and throwing it to hear the shatter of ice. It was fun until Gwenny fell and her whole foot (shoe and all) got soaked. When she fell I think it kinda shocked her because she didn't move. She just sat there with her foot in the ice cold water -- don't think that's the reflexes I would want her to have if she fell into a lake :)
They decorated Christmas cookies -- and they were yummy!!

Wasn't there a KaeDell about Amber's age? Where is she and what's she up to.
yep there is a Kaydell. And she is about Amber age. She is married to Ryan Brown ( he's from tracy - his dad was stake president). They have 5 kids and live in Georgia -- we hardly ever see her since she is so far away. But they are great :)
