Last Saturday our city put on their annual Fire Station Treasure Hunt. There were 4 stations for us to go to, each with their own fun thing to do. We only made it to 3 - because we had a birthday party to go to - but I think we picked the best 3 and the kids had a ton of fun.
The first station we went to had a helicopter fly to it and land right in front of us. This was SO exciting for the kids. Jackson loved seeing it fly and get close - but when it touched down it made it VERY windy and kicked up a bunch of little rocks and dirt and that scared him.
The second station we went to we all got to go for a ride in a Fire Truck!! Gwen was most excited about being in a seat without a carseat or booster. :)

It was a fun day --- in the words of the kids it was "the best day ever!!!"
