We ran the Warrior Dash a couple weeks ago. Click on the link to check it out -- it has lots of fun obstacles while you run and it was the funnest run I have ever done. It was pretty challenging tho -- and not the obstacles like you would think -- the course itself was extremely hilly. But I thoroughly enjoyed myself and can't wait for it to came back next year. Special thanks to Adam for coming to the run to watch our kids. Here is some of our obstacles...

i don't know if you can see my face very well - but i don't look happy in this picture -- that is because i HATED this obstacle. I am not a fan of tight, dark spaces -- at all!! And Lisa and I got stuck behind some idiot that would not move!! We were in there for way too long!

that's because Lisa HATES to be dirty. and she really really really hates newspaper ink. if you ever want to get her back for anything naughty she has done to you, secretly stash a freshly printed newspaper somewhere that she would accidently touch it. she would just absolutely cringe and then wash her hands OCD style.
also, this race sounds fun, but i wish your pictures were larger. i tried clicking on them, but they got SMALLER! j/k they didn't change size, which was disappointing because you guys both looked pretty retarded in the first picture and I wanted to get a better look. darnit! :)

Oh my heavens, April! That looks like so much fun! I would love to do one of those! How long was the course? Where exactly was it held? Did any kids do it or was it just adults. Count me in next year!

And sorry about the pics being so small -- they are the pics from the photographer at the race - I'm not buying them because the prices are crazy. So this is the best I can do.
Ann - Those course is just a 5k. It was held in North Plains, OR (portland area) I believe that is where it will be again next year.
No kids did it -- I think they have to be at least 12 to participate.
I'd love for you to do it with us next year! :)
I swear, you guys have the coolest runs!! we have nothing like that... point for oregon on the running tally.
