i guess i'll start here....

Our summer was so busy it's overwhelming for me to start a post. I look at all the pictures and don't even know where to begin. So I guess I'll go back to our Crater Lake trip.

We had never been to Crater Lake - but really wanted to go. So to make sure we got there - Sam signed up for a run there and we planned a camping trip with my brother Keith and his family. My sister in law Alicia ran the race too -- except she is an actual runner - so she signed up for the half marathon. :) It was a really fun camping trip. I am not really a lover of camping - I always put up a big stink that I have to go -- but once I'm there I always have fun. And while I was there - I found that my brother is a bigger girl about camping than I am. :) He does NOT like being dirty. Gotta love him. :) We went on a hike down to where you can actually get in the lake -- the water was SO blue and SO clear. It was awesome. The brave ones - Sam, Keith, Alicia and some of the Davis family (that also camped with us) - jumped off a cliff into the cold water. It looked fun -- but who would take the pictures if I jumped too?!?! ;)

Anyways on our way home we also stopped at a waterfall that we went to 2 years ago on a trip. It's still beautiful.

Oh and by the way -- Sam and Alicia did great on the run!! :)
