Yesterday Sam ran his first 10k. It was called The Best Dam Run (because the course runs along a dam). I am so proud of him. He has been going out running 4 days a week for a month or two now, in preparation for this run. He did great!! Very proud of him.If you are thinking " that CAN'T be what he wore in the race" -- you'd be wrong. The button-up, collar shirt is exactly what he wore for the race. I tried and tried to convince him to change but he was convinced it was the most logical choice since it was light weight and it had a pocket in the front for him to clip his ipod on. oooohhhh Sam -- always the unique one. :)

That is awesome-also pretty logical with the shirt. I agree. I shove mine in my sports bra and it gets all sweaty-haha.

You guys are turning into runners eh? That's awesome! Tell Sam that he is a-ma-za-zing for running, and I'm sure the outfit cut off minutes off his time.
