Farewell Friends

Sam and I have had a great friend that we've known since high school -- Adam Anderson. Over the years we have managed to still stay very close. We've happily added his wife Sarah to our friendship (Sam was the best man at their wedding) and now their son Parker - who gets along great with the kids. When we lived in San Luis Obispo they lived down in Long Beach and then moved even closer when they moved to Ventura. Then when we moved up to Oregon - within a year or so - they moved up to Portland. It's been great. Until now.....
They are leaving us - for Colorado. (boooooo) But they are excited - so I guess I'm excited for them. And Sam has never been to Colorado - so it will be a great place for us to visit.
Last Saturday we got together for the last time before they move.........

went to the park to feed the ducks (again -- we've had an excess of bread products lately :)
Sam picking on Sarah as usual......
Parker does this awesome thing and I wish we got it on film. His favorite movie is Mary Poppins -- so if you start singing Step in Time - he starts kicking his feet out like he's a chimney sweep from the movie. It's hilarious. So all day I would bust out "Step in Time, Step in Time!!" and there he'd go. It was great. :) Here's him and the girls in action......
Sam and his love - Adam
BFF's :) ..............................
Look how Adam loving looks at Sam..........
Friends Forever - no matter how far they might try to get from us ;)
We will miss you Andersons!!!

I have to admit April that I was slightly relieved when I read the post and realized they were only moving. For some reason when I just scanned the title my mind thought a friend of yours had died. It stinks to have good friends move - or even worse, to be the people that move and be all alone with no one you know close to you...
