This year may be the last year my children love Santa -- because after He comes they are going to be very disappointed. This year they both sat on Santa's lap and proceeded to ask him for live animals. Addie REALLY wants a turtle -- or as she called it a turd-us (combo of turtle and tortoise - don't tease her about it - she's sensitive). And Gwen REALLY wants a cat. So as you can see -- they will be very disappointed because neither of them will be receiving their Christmas wish. It makes me sad -- I even considered it for about a minute - but we don't even have enough room in our house for all of our kids. :)
I am actively trying to help them think of other ideas -- non-living ideas. We will see and hopefully they will not remember this year as the worst Christmas of their lives. :)

so so cute, we have yet to take Parker! I love the Miley hair in the santa photo!
April-very sad when we can't fulfill their every wish-I am having the same dilemma with what Trennan wants. He is asking for a DS and Rich says absolutely not. He already has a gameboy, but he likes to have everything and do everything like his big brother and Brackon got one for his birthday (he mostly got $$$ and then bought it himself) I would get the girls stuffed animals or the littlest petshop animals that resemble the real ones they want. Then tell them what I told my kids-Santa has a lot of poor kids he has to take care of this year, so we will not have a big Christmas so we can help the poor kids get presents. It works! Love you guys!!!
haha, i love the slug and the christmas wishes. dont feel bad, your nicer than i am, braden and cade both want a puppie and i just flat out said NO and not to ask santa for one either, unless it was the offspring of peesie(however you spell it).
